About Me
I am a second-year undergraduate student majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Physics. I am the Founder and President of the Gaucho Rocket Project, a student-led initiative with the goal of landing a rocket and expanding the capabilities of amateur rocketry. Outside of UCSB, I am a regular snowboarder, multi-instrumentalist, director, actor, and solo traveler. After graduating, I plan on pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or Materials Science.

I am an undergraduate researcher under Professor Daniel Oropeza the Materials department where I lead a project in characterizing the strength of ceramics manufactured via stereolithography.
Costal Conversations: Working with Global Leaders to bring student ran discussions to our shores at UC Santa Barbara. Upcoming events include Salud Carbajal on October 26th in Campbell Hall
January 2023 - June 2024
Selected as one of 15 students to attend the HACU National Capitol Forum in Washington, DC, as part of the Voces Nuevas Program. Joining fellow student leaders in the Capitol Forum actively engaging in discussions and advocate for policies that aim to improve educational and economic outcomes for the Hispanic community.
